Carolina Core FC is a professional soccer club competing in MLS NEXT Pro and is committed to creating an exciting, family-friendly, and memorable matchday experience for every fan. The Game Day Operations & Fan Experience Internship provides hands-on experience in sports operations, event management, promotions, fan engagement, and live event production.
Position Summary

The Public Address Announcer provides game day announcing services, including scripted reads and live announcements, helping inform fans and create an energetic and engaging atmosphere throughout Carolina Core FC home matches.

Services
  • Deliver all in game PA announcements, including promotional reads, scoring updates, fan information, sponsor messaging and crowd prompts.
  • Deliver announcements in coordination with game presentation scripts and cues while adapting to the flow of the game.
  • Engage and inform fans through a clear, energetic and professional delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Game Presentation and Production teams throughout the event.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of game timing, announcements and required cues.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong, confident voice with professional cadence and delivery.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced live environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to provide services at all spring 2027 home games.
  • Professional, reliable and collaborative.
  • Candidate must be able to deliver services on-site.
  • This engagement is based in the United States. Applicants must be legally entitled to provide services as an independent contractor in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a PA Announcer at live sporting events.
  • Knowledge of and passion for Carolina Core FC.
  • Flexibility to provide services on evenings and weekends as required.
