Play-by-Play Broadcaster Announcer ( High School )

Do you love high school sports?

987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country are looking for a part-time Sports Broadcaster to help cover some of the best student-athletes in the area.

Responsibilities:

· Broadcast live high school sporting events

· Provide play-by-play coverage for football, volleyball, basketball and baseball

· Conduct interviews with coaches and athletes

· Create social media content and score updates

· Write sports stories and recaps

· Assist with sports production and broadcast preparation

· Serve as an on-air fill-in when opportunities arise

Coverage Area:

· Leyton

· Potter-Dix

· Bridgeport

· Creek Valley

· Kimball

· Banner County

Schedule: Primarily Tuesday and Friday evenings with occasional other weekday and weekend assignments.

Qualifications:

· Passion for local sports

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to think quickly and react during live broadcasts

· Dependable and professional

· Previous broadcasting experience is a plus but not required
