Public Address Announcer ( USL League 2 & W League Soccer )

We are seeking driven and passionate individuals to join our team as

Game Day Operations & Sports Public Address Announcing Interns

for the upcoming USL season at Erie Sports Center. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in live sports event management and broadcasting within a pre-professional soccer environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of game day operations, including event setup, coordination, and post-game breakdown
• Support execution of USL League Two and USL W League home matches
• Serve as a game day announcer (PA), delivering starting lineups, substitutions, match updates, and sponsor reads
• Coordinate with coaching staff, players, referees, and media personnel to ensure smooth match flow
• Help manage fan engagement, music, and in-game entertainment
• Ensure a professional and energetic matchday atmosphere for players and supporters

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Passion for soccer and understanding of the game
• Ability to stay composed and confident in a live event setting
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for evenings and weekends (matchdays)
• Interest in sports management, broadcasting, or event operations

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with announcing, commentary, or live events
• Familiarity with PA systems or audio equipment
• Background in sports media, communications, or coaching
