Play-by-Play Broadcaster Announcer and Marketing Consultant

Eagle Media is seeking a dynamic, community-driven professional to serve as the Voice of the Hutchinson High School Salthawks while helping local businesses grow through effective marketing and advertising solutions.

This dual-role position combines sports broadcasting and marketing consulting, offering a strong platform, community visibility, and income growth potential.

What You’ll Do

Sports Broadcasting

• Provide high-quality play-by-play coverage of Hutchinson High School Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Softball on KWBW AM & FM, our apps, and HutchPost.com
• Deliver professional, prepared, and engaging broadcasts
• Maintain strong relationships with school administration, coaches, faculty, and staff
• Represent Eagle Media at games, school functions, and community events
• Help promote broadcasts and grow listener engagement

Marketing & Sales

• Build relationships with local businesses.
• Develop customized marketing solutions including:
  • Radio advertising
  • Streaming/app placements
  • Video and digital advertising
  • Integrated marketing campaigns
• Prospect new business while growing existing accounts
• Work with a trained internal team to develop proposals and execute campaigns
• Focus on client results, retention, and long-term partnerships

This role is ideal for someone who wants to be in the press box during game season and actively working with local businesses year-round — making an impact both on-air and in the community

What We’re Looking For

• Organized and self-motivated
• Service-minded with strong relationship skills
• Energetic, professional communicator
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Sales or marketing experience preferred
• Sports play-by-play experience preferred

Compensation

• Base salary commensurate with experience
• Performance-based commission structure
• One-year commission guarantee while building accounts
• Full support team for production, digital strategy, and campaign execution
• Strong long-term earning potential
