Play by Play Broadcaster Announcer / News Director

Raccoon Valley Radio is expanding our News and Sports coverage in Guthrie County, and we’re looking for the right person to join our award-winning team!

This is your opportunity to be a “big fish in a small pond.” If you have a passion for local news, love covering high school athletics, and enjoy connecting with your community, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver accurate, timely local news coverage
• Provide sports reporting and play-by-play coverage
• Cover community events and local government meetings
• Serve as a trusted voice for area residents
• Help provide the information people rely on to make good decisions

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills (on-air and written)
• A passion for local journalism and community involvement
• Knowledge of or interest in local sports
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Broadcasting or journalism experience preferred (but the right attitude matters most!)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Writing Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
