Are you ready to bring the energy of live sports and local radio to life? Alpha Media – Redwood Falls is on the hunt for a dynamic Part-Time On-Air Talent / Play-by-Play Sports Announcer to join our team at KJEL-FM!

This is your chance to step into the spotlight with a fast-paced, fun, and rewarding role that goes beyond the mic. We’re looking for a confident voice with at least one year of on-air experience, a strong team spirit, and a true passion for broadcasting and local sports.

Responsibilities of this position may include:

Broadcast live from remote locations and events.
Play-by-play of area local sports teams.

Requirements of this position include the following:

A minimum of one year of on-air experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to work weeknights and weekends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations.
Proficient in the use of audio editing software and broadcast equipment.
Ability to successfully execute station events and remotes.
Able to relate to the audience and have a strong listener interaction.
Public speaking skills and the ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
Skilled in the operation of a control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle.

Preference may be given to candidates who have the above experience plus the following:

Prior broadcast industry experience.
