🔍What is the project?

This is an audio recording project for professional voice artists with acting abilities.

The recordings will be used as AI Training data for our client.

It will be Non-broadcast, internal and in perpetuity. There will be NO public or paid usage, nor will your voice be used as any form of external facing AI voice model. AI model training only.

📝Requirements

• Must speak English with either a US or UK accent
  • Native speakers are not essential, but a clear and strong accent that can be maintained throughout the recording
• Must be over 18 years of age, no maximum
• Must be able to perform expressive character readings
• Must be able to meet the audio specifications (see below)
  • These are high spec so please consider your ability to achieve them before applying.

📖Project Details:

• You will be given login details on the client apps to submit an audition
  • The client is looking for acting ability and expressive performance only at this stage. You will record your audition through your phone.
• You will be assigned between 5 and 7 hours of audio should you be selected after the audition
• Multiple scripts will be provided directly to you once approved for work (that totals 5-7 hours of audio)
• Ensure natural pausing throughout each script
• Misreads or mistakes must be removed from your final file
• File delivery will be explained upon assignment
• File labelling instructions must be followed exactly as provided (will be given with scripts)
• Once approved you will have 7 days to complete all of your assigned recording.

Audio Specifications:

These audio specifications must be adhered to for the full project recording only*:*

• Performed in a sound-deadened room with naturally minimised background noise
• 32-bit, 48 kHz
• No breaths and clicks (no plugins)
  • Breaths do not need to be edited out but must be naturally minimized in performance.
  • No post-production editing or plugins are allowed as they compromise audio quality.

🤳🏻How to Take part

1. Create an account on Twine here – This is a must so we can pay you (skip if you already have an account)
2. Visit here to apply for the project – https://airtable.com/appyvQtVR6XiJI8j9/pag84janfhSuy4Wsn/form
   • In this form, you will be asked to submit an existing voice sample so we can check if your accent is either UK or US.
3. If approved you will be emailed details for your audition
   • These will be login details to the client app titled “Neevo” by Defined.ai
   • All instructions will be presented to you within the app
   • The client may take up to 14 days to review your audition
4. Once selected we will contact you with your assigned scripts and instructions to begin the project work.
5. You will have 7 days to submit your final recordings from this point.

✅ QA of submissions:

The audio quality and performance are both important for this project and will be reviewed by the client.

The client has a right to ask for up to one round of revisions on your submitted files should the requirements not be met.

If these corrections are still not correct payment will be refused and the work rejected.

💵 Payment

Payment is $100 per hour of approved audio*

This will be between $500-$700 in total depending on your assigned hours

*inclusive of tax

Time scale:

• The client may take up to 45 days to review your files after submission.
  • If you are asked for corrections the 45 days will restart from the point of resubmission.
• Once approved your payment will then be sent to Twine and processed. For this process, we are allowing up to 30 days.

This is a total of 75 days from submission to payment.

This is an estimated maximum and we would expect payment to come within this period but we are upfront about the timeframe to set expectations. This is a large project and processing does take time)

Payment information:

• You must have a Twine account for us to pay you for this work – **Register here** if you have not already
• Payment will be made into your chosen payment method which must be entered within your settings on your **Twine account.**

Please ensure you have done this as soon as you submit your audio to prevent payment delays.

There is a transaction fee associated with each payment method option – If you are a Twine Pro user there are no fees
