Utah Royals FC is seeking an energetic, professional, and engaging Public Address Announcer / In-Stadium Host to serve as the voice and face of matchday entertainment at home matches.

This role is central to creating an unforgettable fan experience through live announcements, on-camera hosting, and in-game activations.

Responsibilities:

PA Announcer Duties:

● Serve as the official game-day voice of Utah Royals FC during all home matches. ● Announce player introductions, starting lineups, in-game updates, and halftime activities.

● Deliver sponsor reads, promotional announcements, and special recognitions with clarity and enthusiasm.

● Work closely with the Match Presentation team to ensure accurate, timely, and on-brand messaging.

● Adapt to live-game situations while maintaining a professional, energetic tone.

● Take direction effectively and collaborate with production staff in a fast-paced environment.

In-Stadium & On-Camera Host Duties:

● Serve as an in-stadium and on-camera host during Utah Royals FC home matches.

● Execute live in-game promotions, interviews, contests, and fan features with confidence and enthusiasm.

● Collaborate with producers, directors, stage managers, and fellow hosts to deliver scripted and unscripted content.

● Engage fans and help create memorable, high-energy moments throughout the match.

Minimum Requirements:

● Strong vocal presence with clear articulation, energy, and enthusiasm. ● Prior on-camera or live-event hosting experience required.

● Excellent verbal communication, public speaking, and ad-libbing skills.

● Strong knowledge of soccer rules, terminology, and match flow is highly preferred.

● Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable in live, high-energy environments.

● Professional appearance, strong stage presence, and engaging on-camera demeanor.

● Dependable, punctual, and a collaborative team player.

● Ability to follow production cues, timing, and game flow.

● Available to work all Utah Royals FC home matches, including nights and weekends.

● Spanish speaking (not required but is helpful)

Preferred Qualifications:

● Previous experience as a PA announcer, host, broadcaster, or public speaker preferred (but not required).

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 5 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 10 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, typing, etc.
