Are you energized, confident behind the mic, and passionate about endurance sports?

We are seeking an upbeat, engaging announcer to bring the Horsetooth Tri Training event series to life.

When: Wednesday nights June 4 – July 30th (no event July 2nd), 8 weeks

Time: 5:00 – 8:00 pm

Where: Horsetooth Reservoir, South Swim Beach

What You’ll Do

• Kick Off Each Session: Welcome athletes, introduce coaches, and set the tone for the evening.
• Start Events: Cue athletes, announce starts, —keep participants on track and motivated.
• Highlight Achievements: Celebrate milestones, shout out personal bests, and maintain high energy.
• Safety & Logistics: Communicate course updates, water & weather conditions, and safety reminders clearly and promptly.
• Community Building: Foster camaraderie among swimmers, paddlers, and triathletes of all levels.
• General Event Support – help with setup and tear down as needed.

Who You Are

• Comfortable speaking to groups of 20–100 participants
• Familiar with swim and SUP terminology (triathlon or live-athletics announcing a plus)
• Energetic, clear, and charismatic on the microphone
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing conditions
• Available for all event dates on Wednesdays, 5–8 PM, at Horsetooth Reservoir (June–July)
